DKS202-M24 Dedicated Upgrade Guide

Upgrade Tool

Tips: This Firmware Upgrade requires the upgrade tool-V1.3.10 (.exe) and the corresponding upgrade file (.bin). Please download them on your computer to proceed. Of note, the upgrade tool can only run on Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems.

Please note that the files have been compressed into a split archive due to size limitations. To extract the files successfully, please follow these steps:

1. Download all parts of the archive (KVMFUT_Windows(V1.3.10_Release).zip.001 & KVMFUT_Windows(V1.3.10_Release).zip.002) and make sure they are in the same folder.
2. Do not rename the files, as they must keep their original names.
3. Use an extraction tool that supports split archives.
4. Open the first part (KVMFUT_Windows(V1.3.10_Release).zip.001) in the extraction tool and start extraction. The software will automatically merge all parts during this process.
5. Once extraction is complete, you will have access to all files.

Upgrade Guide

Step 1: Turn on the KVM Switch, and use a USB-A to USB-B cable to connect the computer to the PC1 USB input port on the KVM.

Note: If you have connected and used the KVM for a while, you do not need toreconnect. Make sure in advance that when you switch the KVM to PC1 input, the keyboard and mouse connected to the KVM can work normally on the computer connected to PC 1 input port. If not, please directly connect your keyboard and mouse to your computer to process the upgrade.

Step 2: Run the upgrade tool on the computer connected.

Step 3: Click on “Connect”, you will see the following information:

Ensure that the Product is identified as "DKS202-M24"

Step 4: Select the upgrade file "DKS202-M24_V_SOFMUS1-V005-ALT_APP.v.tespack" and click the“Upgrade”to process the upgrade.

Step 5: The upgrade process is complete. Please reboot the KVM.
